The CipherMax CM140T storage security system for tape is built on an intelligent, fabric-aware architecture that delivers the highest performing and most cost-effective storage security solutions available. Line-speed encryption processing and centralized security administration for both legacy and LTO-4 drives allow CM140T systems to deliver an enormous amount of functionality with far less consumption of space, power and cooling than first-generation encryption appliances.
CM140T users can configure up to 16 FC connections to suit their network requirements with port-level bandwidth allocation on demand. The dynamic distribution of encrypted data across multiple ports provides the most efficient use of processing power and the highest levels of performance, manageability and scalability available.
